Blue Ghost Mission 1: Our Moon Adventure!

Blue Ghost Mission 1 was a super cool robot that traveled all the way to the Moon! It launched on January 15, 2025, and landed softly on March 2, 2025. Think of it like a special delivery truck, but instead of toys, it carried important science tools to learn about our Moon. It was the first time a company called Firefly Aerospace sent a robot to land safely on the Moon all by itself!

This amazing robot was built by a company called Firefly Aerospace. They worked with NASA, which is like the boss of space adventures for the United States. The Blue Ghost robot hitched a ride on a giant rocket called a Falcon 9, which is as tall as a skyscraper! It blasted off from a place called Kennedy Space Center, ready for its big journey to the Moon.

Blue Ghost Mission 1 had a very important job! It carried 10 special science packages to a big, flat area on the Moon called Mare Crisium.
