Bebhionn: A Tiny Moon in Space!

Imagine a tiny speck of dust compared to a giant beach ball! That's kind of like Bebhionn and its planet, Saturn. Bebhionn is a moon, which means it's a natural thing that goes around a planet.

It's much, much smaller than our own Moon! It's so small, it's only about 3 kilometers wide. That's like the length of about 30 school buses lined up end-to-end!

Bebhionn lives in a very special neighborhood in space called the Saturn system. Saturn is a giant planet with amazing rings, and Bebhionn is one of its many, many moons. It orbits Saturn, which means it travels in a big circle around the planet. It takes Bebhionn about 1 Earth day to go all the way around Saturn. That's super fast compared to Earth's Moon, which takes a whole month!

Scientists think Bebhionn is made of mostly rock. It's not a big, round ball like some moons. Instead, it's shaped more like a potato! It's a very lumpy and bumpy little moon. Because it's so small, it doesn't have enough gravity to pull itself into a round shape. It's like a little space rock tumbling through the darkness around Saturn.

Bebhionn is cool because it's one of Saturn's many moons! Saturn has a whopping 146 moons, and Bebhionn is one of the smallest. It's like having a huge classroom with 146 tiny little friends all playing around the teacher (Saturn!). Even though it's small, scientists love to study these tiny moons because they can tell us more about how planets and moons form in our solar system.
