These avatars are genetically made to look exactly like the Na'vi. A human scientist or soldier can then connect their brain to the avatar and control it, like playing a video game! This lets them walk around Pandora and talk to the Na'vi without being seen as humans.

It’s like if everyone in your whole school, and then every school in your city, went to see one movie. The creators loved the story so much, they are making even more movies about Pandora and the Na'vi!
