It's part of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. Think of it like a giant, amazing art museum that holds treasures from all over Asia. It's connected to another museum called the Freer Gallery of Art, and together they are like the National Museum of Asian Art.

They have the biggest library just for Asian art in the whole country!

Built Like a Secret Hideout!

The most amazing thing is that most of the gallery is hidden underground! It's located on the National Mall, and 96% of it is buried beneath a beautiful garden called the Enid A. Haupt Garden.
