What's All the Fuss About?

Imagine a girl named Alice who falls asleep and dreams of a crazy adventure! In her dream, she follows a White Rabbit wearing a waistcoat and carrying a pocket watch. He hurries into a rabbit hole, and Alice, being curious, follows him!

Down, down, down she goes, into a magical land where nothing is quite as it seems. She meets talking animals, drinks potions that make her shrink, and eats cakes that make her grow super tall. It's a world full of surprises and silly characters!

Who Dreamed This Up?

A clever writer named Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, who used the pen name Lewis Carroll, wrote this amazing story. He was a mathematician and loved telling stories to children. He first told the tale of Alice's adventures to Alice Liddell, the daughter of a friend.

Alice loved the story so much that she asked him to write it down. So, he did! He wrote it all out and even added funny drawings.

It was first published way back in 1865, a long, long time ago!

Why is it So Famous?

This book is super famous because it's so different and fun! It's not like a regular fairy tale. The characters are all a bit mad, like the Mad Hatter who has a never-ending tea party, and the Queen of Hearts who loves to shout 'Off with their heads!'.

The story makes you think about rules and how silly they can be sometimes. It’s a book that makes you laugh and wonder, and that’s why people have loved it for over 150 years!

Crazy Characters You'll Meet!

Alice meets so many strange friends and foes! There's the Cheshire Cat, who can disappear, leaving only his grin behind. You'll also meet the March Hare and the Dormouse, who are always at a tea party.

And don't forget the Caterpillar, who smokes a hookah and asks very puzzling questions. Each character is more peculiar than the last, making Alice's journey through Wonderland a truly unforgettable and topsy-turvy experience.
