Aleksander Barkov

Imagine a super-fast player on the ice, zipping around and scoring goals! That's Aleksander Barkov, or Sasha as his friends call him. He's a captain for the Florida Panthers, which means he leads his team. He's also won some super cool awards for being really good at playing hockey, both when his team has the puck and when the other team has it. He's like a superhero on skates!

Sasha grew up in a country called Finland, which is far away! His dad was also a hockey player, so maybe he learned some cool moves from him. When Sasha was just 16, he started playing for a big team in Finland and was the youngest player ever to score a point.

That's like being the youngest kid in your class to win a spelling bee! Then, he got picked to play in the biggest hockey league in North America, the NHL.
