Imagine not breathing for a super, super long time! That's what Aleix Segura does. He's a champion at holding his breath underwater, which is called freediving. He's so good, he's won world championships! He started by learning to hold his breath for fishing, and now he's famous for it. He can stay underwater for minutes and minutes, longer than you can imagine!

Aleix is a master of 'static apnea'. That means he lies very still and holds his breath for as long as possible. It's like a super-still game of 'freeze'! He trains his body to use oxygen very slowly. He can hold his breath for over eight minutes, and sometimes even longer! That's longer than most people can even imagine staying underwater.

Aleix Segura has a Guinness World Record for having the 'Biggest Lungs Ever' for a male! He held his breath for an incredible 24 minutes and 3.45 seconds. That's longer than a whole TV show episode! He's the only person to hold three big breath-holding titles at the same time. Wow!

When Aleix isn't breaking breath-holding records, he has another amazing job. He's an architect! That means he designs buildings. So, he's super smart and super strong in the water. He lives in Barcelona, Spain, and shows everyone that you can be great at many different things.
