Akbarnama

The Akbarnama is like a super-duper special diary for a very important king named Akbar. He was the third king of the Mughal Empire, and he wanted everyone to know all about his life and everything that happened when he was king. So, he asked his friend, Abul Fazl, to write it all down.

It's written in a language called Persian, which was fancy back then, and it's full of amazing stories and colorful pictures!

Today, you can find a very special copy of the Akbarnama in a museum in London called the Victoria and Albert Museum. It has over 100 tiny paintings, and it’s a wonderful reminder of a king and his incredible story.
