2025 Irish presidential election

In Ireland, they have a special leader called the President. This person is like the captain of a ship, guiding the country. In 2025, it was time to choose a new captain because the old one, Michael D. Higgins, had been captain for a super long time, two whole terms! That's like being class president for 14 years! So, people had to vote for a new one.
