2024–25 FA Cup: The Amazing Football Adventure!

The FA Cup is like a huge treasure hunt for football teams in England! It's the oldest football competition in the whole world, meaning it's been around for a super, super long time. This year, it's called the Emirates FA Cup because a company called Emirates is helping to make it happen. Lots of teams start, but only one can be the champion!

This amazing football adventure kicked off with special games called qualifying matches way back on August 3rd, 2024. But the real exciting part, where all the big teams join in, began on November 2nd, 2024. The grand finale, where the two best teams play to win it all, happened on May 17th, 2025, at a famous stadium called Wembley!

Guess what? A team called Crystal Palace won the FA Cup for the very first time ever! They beat a really strong team called Manchester City in the final match. Winning this means Crystal Palace gets to play in another special game and even gets to play in a big European competition next year. How cool is that?!

Even though Manchester City didn't win the final this time, they've been in the final for the last two years! The team that won last year, Manchester United, got knocked out earlier in the competition by a team called Fulham. It shows that in the FA Cup, anything can happen, and every team fights super hard!
