1968 Summer Olympics

In 1968, the whole world gathered in Mexico City for the Summer Olympics! It was like a super-duper international sports festival. Athletes from tons of countries came to show off their skills in running, jumping, swimming, and so much more.

This was a really special Olympics because it was the very first time it was held in a place called Latin America. Think of it like the first time your school had a special event in a brand new part of the playground!
